Current News and Shows:

New Studio: I have just set up shop in a great new studio (shared with John Larsen) in the inner SE Portland area. New space means new work.

New Job: I am now the Gallery Director for the North View Gallery at Portland Community College as well as continuing to teach classes.

Good Bye My Coney Island Baby: This 4+ minute stop-motion animation was created in collaboration with John Larsen in the last few months of 2008. It was shown at Chemeketa Community College in January 2009 along with an installation of the props used in the movie.

Tryon Creek State Park Natural Cycles Installation Project: I have been commissioned by Tryon Creek State Park, along with 4 other installation artists, to create artwork along the public trail for it's 4th annual Natural Cycles show. The work is on view until the end of August 2009 and can be seen on the portfolio page of this site. More information about this project is available on the Friends of Tryon Creek Website.

School of Visual Arts Residency in New York City: The 5 week residency I attended in Summer 2008 culminated in two stop-motion animations, a series of video stills and a window installation which can be seen on the portfolio page of this site.
